Santa Fe 1 Paint Sequence Schedule The project is scheduled to begin September 28, 2020. More information will be available for hard dates on the sequencing of events as soon as we have more information from the contractors, MTS Painting.

If you would like to contract MTF Painting to do any additional work for you such as painting your back patio area, the contractor has provided a website for your convenience in scheduling such work at your own expense. MTF Painting Contractor

As a note on the exterior painting, the outside of the patio enclosure walls on the golf course side and the outside of the patio enclosure walls on the greenbelt side will be painted in 2021. If you would like the paint contractors to paint your back area if you back to the golf course or if you back to the greenbelt, it might be suggested to contract them to paint your back area at the time these walls are painted.

For all other homeowners, if you want to contract MTS Painting to paint your back area when they paint the community, please contact them directly using the following information provided above.

DID YOU KNOW: If you rent your home in Santa Fe 1 for any length of time, you are required by law to do the following:

  1. You must register your property as a residential rental property by submitting the Residential Rental Property Registration Form according to the Maricopa County Assessors website.
  2. Apply for a Transaction Privilege Sales Tax Permit (City of Scottsdale - Rentals Regulations)
  3. Apply for a Transient Tax Liability license (City of Scottsdale)
  4. Submit a registration form to the SF1 Property Manager and pay $25 per rental (except long-term lease renewals).
  5. See our Rules and Regulations pertaining to Rentals including the Fine Policies - these apply to all homeowners in Santa Fe 1.

Please watch the HOA Calendar for meetings such as the Landscape Committee and the Architectural Committee so that you can attend if you have actions that you want addressed. Attending those meetings gives you, the homeowner, an opportunity to participate in the decision-making process by providing your input to your own situation. Click on the Calendar link in the "Latest News" column to find meetings times. Committee meetings are posted on the calendar and are open to the homeowners. The Board of Directors wants to encourage you to participate.


If you notice something in our planned community that you want to compliment, express concerns, or express criticisms, please contact our Property Manager directly - not Board members. Common concerns are: excessive noise at the pool, overnight parking on the street, dogs that are not on a leash, etc. If you wish to submit a complaint about a violation you have personally observed, please use the Homeowner Violation Complaint form and submit it to our property manager. This must be a 1st hand experience.

SF1 HOA Officers elected at the February 2020 Monthly Board meeting: Lindsey Joseph, President;  Terry Corzine, Vice President;  Judi Tuchten, Secretary, George Lydford, Treasurer,  Al Lindstrom, Director-at-Large.


Monthly Board Meetings are generally held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. No meetings are generally scheduled for June, July and August nor December. Annual members' meeting is held on the 2nd Wednesday of February. Registration @ 7:00 pm, meeting @ 7:30 pm. All homeowners are encouraged to attend the board meetings. We appreciate your input!

2020 Scheduled Board of Directors Events - all are held in the Santa Fe 1 Clubhouse. All meetings are Open Meetings. SF1 homeowners are encouraged to attend.

Notice: Paint colors will change after our paint project October 2020.
These are the new colors:
STUCCO - Sherwin-Williams "Mexican Sand"
Fascia and Wood Beams - Sherwin-Williams "Sealskin"
Garage doors, window trim and columns - Sherwin-Williams "Balanced Beige"

These are mandatory colors as per McCormick Ranch Property Owners Association ACC. There are no variations allowed.
